Low Vision Clinics

The South Cumbria Low Vision Service is a service that helps assess someone’s remaining vision, provides guidance on magnification and lighting, and provides support and training to help maintain independence.

We understand how frightening and frustrating sight of loss can be for not only the individual, but also for their family and friends.

Once a month, clinics are held at the Grange Clinic in Grange-over-Sands and Furness General Hospital in Barrow-in-Furness.  These clinics are found to be very useful and the Low Vision Team is on hand to answer any questions you may have and can provide some free equipment.

For more information on the Low Vision Service please get in touch with us.
